I don't plan on getting any destroyer weapons. I hoped at least you would be able to display the endgame weapons from factions and nightfall. I'll not be rich enough to get a destroyer weapon.

Its nice to demand answers but you know what this forum is like..

Does someone want to do some reasearch and find all the threads with Gailes name in the title and work out how many she actually answered? I bet its not many..
I know, and it's not looking good. But I'm going to keep on bumping this 'til my dying day. So they've got plently of time to answer.

fully agreed.

now when I got my Tormented axe and Shield I have to waste approx 200 G's on Destroyer axe and Shield just to to be remarked in GW2 for having achived something in GW in the field of getting top-level gear.
This feels unfair, because many experienced players won't even use these weapons as they already possess better looking, more valuable and harder to get equipement (crystaline, tormented, elemental, etc). And now we all have to dry our pockets of 200 paltinum just to get a candy bar in GW2

Since they said nothing about weapons being limited to Destroyer items, and since getting Forgotten/Imperial Sanctum engames is at least as difficult, it would be nice if they could include those.

Lovitar, anyone can be an a$$hole. It's a legitimate question to ask.

I swear, some of the smarmy comments you all make would get your a$$es handed to you IRL. Be lucky you can be a prick here.

Looks like an old guy who lives in his parents basement going to a cosplay convention, but couldn't afford the whole suit. As for the Valor monument, Destroyer and Tormented weapons, and end game greens, should be what goes in there.

It would be nice as they make it the same way they did in the old Diablo1 expansion: Hellfire. Meaning:
Complete a dungeon mission and at the bottom of that dungeon you find an altar. There you can put an item (without the possibillity for others to take it of course, works like a 1 item personal storage chest) and you can change this item anytime you like when you complete this mission again untill... You add the GW2 game key.. Once you do that the mission and the item will no longer be available. Instead you find a simular mission at the start of GW2 where you can recover the completely personilized (and eventually reskinned?) item at a simular altar in the bottom of your GW2 mission dungeon...

The current state of the valor monument is the single reason I'd ever get a Destroyer weapon. I wouldn't be caught dead using one of those wretchedly ugly things in public. Craft, place on monument, then thrash the junk, I guess. Good money sink.

I agree with all of the above. Although I personally will probably never get a tormented weapon, if those arent rare, then I dont know what is.

How about perfect zodiac weapons? I have a perfect req9 20/10 zodiac staff that I consider to be rare.

And mix armor would be great, as I dont have a single "full set" of 15k, just pieces of sets for my combo armor on my war and monk.

To Lovitar: Sorry. I got through one of the "Why Gwen Sucks" threads and just had a bad taste in my mouth. Yours wasn't like a lot I've read on here, lately. At least you aren't encouraging a flamefest.

OP: I think they've read enough stuff on here to get a good view of all the problems. I mean, we have a "Grind sucks, EotN went down the toilet" thread open up every day on here, and I think every bad point they have seen. Ergo, the chances of you getting an answer are slim to nil. Nothing says you can't keep bumping, though

For the record: I'm not that old
I do not live with my parents
I have never been to a cosplay convention
The guantlets cost 75ectos, so yea I can afford the whole suit

As for this thread, I've said it once but I'll say it again, we would like 2 lvl's of displays for Armor and Weapons. One set is GW:EN only for unlocks the other is just for display ONLY, allowing us to show off what we think makes our char special or unique.

Sry another bump.

I don't like to bump this all the time, but until we get an answer I'm sure you'll understand.

I can understand if its too complicated to change now that we have the full version.

If they would at the very least tell us it is beyond there ability to make such changes with the majority of there people working on GW2 then we could accept it and move on.

As long as they say nothing then the possibility of change exists and this thread, and others like it, will continue.

I think there's a very specific reason that you cannot put Tormented weapons, Kanaxai's whatever, etc. into the HoM. Simply enough, they require a specific campaign be owned in order to do so. If, for example, the HoM took Tormented weapons, then only people that bought Nightfall would be able to do so (not including the WTB method). Someone that owns only Prophecies and EotN cannot, without beign forced to purchase one, get a Tormented weapon.

This simply has to be the exact reason this is at it is.

Now for people that want Greens or "perfect" weapons... do you realize how many Greens there are? The GW2 developers would have to spend far far too much time coming up with some little gimmick for each one. This way there are what... 15 or so specific things that they are coding for? Much smarter from a developmental perspective. Regarding "perfect"... who exactly will be defining what perfect means? Req 9 max? Req 8 max? Maybe the old req 7 max? 15^50? 20v50? A 10/10 Sundering bowstring used to be perfect... do the classics still count?

Even if they group greens to a particular "benefit" you have complaints. If someone puts two greens from a group in the HoM for one effect, they'll whine. If two people put two different greens in and get the same effect, they'll whine.

Simply put, it HAS to be items unique to EotN to ensure equal and fair accessibility to all as well as to prevent huge developmental problems in the future.

Besides... what fun would it be to load the HoM with stuff you already have, then have to wait a year or two for the results? Now you can spend the time getting things you've never had.

Maybe what would solve some of this would be if ANET explained now just what all items and stuff will bring you a bonus in GW2. We have 2 years, if we know okay, having X titles unlocked and every destroyer weapon will give you X bonus things it might help us to know what to achieve.

What I had thought they would do was something like you get points for every title you complete *or even rank in a title* and then those things either give you bonus points for stuff to get/do in GW2, or allowed you to transfer some things.
